The
Golf Launchpad’s precision engineered tethered
ball arrangement, incorporating a real golf ball,
a strong, lightweight, flexible tether and a
double ball-bearing pivot are designed to
reproduce the physics of a free-ball impact. The
result is the exact feel and sound of hitting a
golf ball on the course, whether you’re driving or
putting. There’s even a tethered, rubber tee
included, for total convenience.
Remove the
tethered ball, and you can hit balls into a net or
even take the launchpad to the range and use it as
a sophisticated swing analyzer to sharpen your
game.
The turf is unlike anything you’ve
ever seen in any golf product. The turf and its
underlying rubber-polymer base are custom
engineered so you can hit irons with full
confidence and comfort without detracting from
your ability to putt accurately.
Optical
sensors deep in the turf read your club’s
velocity, angle, path and other dynamic parameters
thousands of times each second as it passes
overhead. Proprietary algorithms crunch the
numbers in real-time to compute data that is sent
to the game software to accurately reproduce the
bal’ls flight.

What is Dance
Dance Revolution?
Dance Dance Revolution, or
simply "DDR" is a dance simulation game that began
as an arcade game in Asia.
DDR made its
first appearance in Japanese arcades in 1998 and
quickly became a national obsession. Its
popularity broke every sales record as the dance
craze swept through all of Asia.

DDR finally made its US debut on the
PlayStation and PlayStation 2 in March 2001 and
has been rapidly gaining in popularity, especially
in California. It's a simple-to-understand,
difficult-to-master, and highly addictive game.
Dance Dance Revolution can be played on a standard
PlayStation or PlayStation 2 controller, but
requires a special dance pad for absolute
enjoyment.
Players match rhythm and
choreography while following onscreen arrows for
dance steps.
Players must step on arrows on a
pad when corresponding arrows move up on a
screen.
Different versions of DDR are
available on the PC, PlayStation, PlayStation 2,
and Xbox.
The games features several modes of
play,including a requisite Arcade mode, a
calorie-evaporating "Diet" mode, and a neophyte
Lesson mode. The different DDR soundtracks are all
very catchy with tons of infectious tunes,
featuring everything from pop to rap, techno to
disco and everything in between, All the songs
have a strong beat and encourage enthusiastic
dancing.
Dance pads were all custom made
from suggestions given by hardcore DDR fans.
The bottoms of these pads are all made from
non-slip cushion material, which prevents the pad
from slipping and provides a softer, more
compliant feel similar to the arcade version.
Dance pads feature a thick foam insert that allows
for greater comfort while playing. The Metal Pad
has thick arcade-like buttons and a stainless
steel frame, just like the arcade!
DDR game play is extremely addictive and the graphics are colorful, fun, and really add to the DDR experience. In addition to arrows that scroll up and down the screen, players are treated to psychedelic colors and polygonal dancers. What are you waiting for? Get the game, the pads, and Start Dancing!
